We have researched Gunnislake during the Second World war and done presentations to our Coffee Morning and Calstock Local History group.  Our current focus is looking at events and memories of Gunnislake from people who have lived in the village and area most of their lives, adding to the information held in the Calstock Parish Archive and possibly putting pieces in the local village 'paper' ( Gateway,  Calstock News and Hamlet).

Research sources: We are using the Parish Archive initially, National Newspaper Archive, local memories, internet searches and probably the Devon and Cornwall Record offices. We are in contact with the National U3A Local History Subject Advisor to give us help and support if needed
